What's Inside?

ISTAMAX footwear is designed and manufactured with technologies suitable for controlling overpronation, based on specific technical features requested by medical specialists and fine-tuned by running experts.
Midsole
Made of double-density phylon with a stiffer internal medial part, in order to reduce stress on the ankle and the inward inclination of the foot, while ensuring adequate cushioning and support.
Anti-torsion
The thermoplastic insert integrated into the midsole helps prevent the foot from over-twisting.
Shell
The back of the shoe that wraps around the heel is made of a rigid cushioned material to stabilize and protect the ankle.
Flexion lines
Positioned along the midsole, they promote better flexibility of the sole.
10 millimeter drop
The difference in height between the back (heel) and the front (toe) of the shoe helps reduce stress on the Achilles tendon and decrease the load on the calf muscles.
Tread
The part of the shoe in direct contact with the ground is made of anti-abrasion material for greater grip and traction.
Insole
Removable and built with arch support for added comfort.
Upper
Breathable mesh fabric for Spring/Summer season and water repellent ripstop nylon for Autumn/Winter season. The heat sealed construction improves the durability of the shoe, as well as identifying the typical aesthetics of the brand.
